GREEK XIII CHAMPIONSHIP BEGINS WITH NEW STRUCTURE

5 Nov 2015

The Greek XIII championship begins this Sunday in Aspropyrgos Attiki with the match Pyrrihios Aspropyrgos – Agios Thomas Goudi.

Agios Thomas is the newcomer in the Hellenic League. With Pyrrihios and AEK Kokkinias, they will form the Regional Championship of Attiki.

The winner of that championship, after home and away matches, will face the winner of the Macedonian Champion (Northern Greece regional championship) in two matches for the title of the Hellas Champion.

Six weeks ago, AEK Kokkinias won the Athens 9’s tournament and at the begining of December another 9’s cup will take place in Thessaloniki in order to help the Macedonian teams to prepare for the XIII tournament.

In 2016, a development tournament will take place also in Attiki Region for old and new clubs – members of the Federation like Pegasus, Promitheas, Pyrrihios b’ and Neapoli.
