Scotland Rugby League is the governing body for the sport in Scotland. Working closely with key stakeholders we aim to position an inclusive version of the Rugby League games as a ‘force for good’ in our communities. Successful candidates will help shape the future of the sport by offering strategic advice and support to the Board and key staff members.
The focus for the three Director roles is to provide specialist expertise and advise in guiding the strategic direction of Scotland Rugby League and monitor the delivery of the strategic plan. Successful candidates will work with the Chair and fellow Board Members to lead on key strategic pillars, objectives and relevant matters to enable the Board to fulfil its responsibilities.
It is anticipated that attendance will be required at up to six Board meetings per annum plus any strategy meetings or sub committees/working groups as appropriate. These are voluntary positions, although reasonable expenses are available.
While knowledge of Rugby League is advantageous, Scotland Rugby League are committed to selecting Board members based on their ability to do the job for which they are being recruited. We encourage applications from all sectors of the community.
