SCOTLAND ANNOUNCES UNDER-18 SQUAD

19 Jul 2012

Scotland has included Hull KR pair Louis Senter and Derek McNeil in their U18 team to play England on Saturday at Falkirk. The rest of the squad are all playing in the Scottish Conference, from which Senter and McNeil emerged and headed south to join Rovers' academy. A third Hull KR Scot, Daryl Love, misses out after breaking his leg in a recent Valvoline Academy game.

Seven different Scottish clubs are represented, from Aberdeen to Edinburgh, with 10 Easterhouse Panthers included, the club that also produced Senter and current full Scotland international David Scott, currently also with Hull KR.

Scotland enjoyed two competitive games with England Colleges last summer and hope to do the same at Falkirk on Saturday and next month at Whitehaven in the return fixture. They then play England Community Lions and Wales U18s in the autumn. Saturday's game is a curtain-raiser to the Community Four Nations Championship clash between Scotland A and the Auld Enemy.
