SOUTH AFRICA ANNOUNCES TRAINING GROUP TO FACE AUSTRALIANS

The SARL has announced a 40-strong training squad as they prepare to face New South Wales Country at the Bosman Stadium in Brakpan, Gauteng on the 18th October. Ten clubs are represented as the domestic season gets into full swing, with Tuks Pretoria providing half of the players to head coach Gerry Gendal’s squad.

SARL President, Kobus Botha, commented; “We have the utmost faith in the coaching staff and the players and trust they will build on the good showing of the SA students at their recent World Cup. South Africa is becoming a force to be reckoned with in the international community and I am excited about what the future brings.”

The New South Wales tourists will also play a Gauteng Combined Clubs side the 12th October 2013.
