Hungary and Serbia maintained their cooperation following a visit to Budapest by leading Serbian first division club Red Star Belgrade. The visitors defeated the Budapest Bulls 50-10, having led 22-4 at the break.

Serbia stand-off Vlada Dedic kicked seven goals and touched down once for a personal haul of 18-points, while five other team-mates registered tries. Bulls second rows, Adam Timcir and Istvan Takacs, scored both their tries.

"SRLF is keen to continue supporting the growth of rugby league in Hungary," said RLEF Central and Eastern Europe Director Jovan Vujosevic. "HRLF has been consistently applying itself for almost three years now and the result is more people playing rugby league in Hungary, organised by an official Hungarian governing body."
