A 22-16 victory over Livonia in the final round of matches saw Valmieras FÄ“nikss claim the Latvian Rugby League domestic crown.

Livonia needed to win by 25 points to take the title and led 16-6 at the break but three second half touchdowns saw Valmieras triumph.

Four teams made up the competition, playing each other twice, Ķekavas Warriors winning two matches to take third spot and Grobiņas Vikingi  the other competing side.
