Match report

YOUTH INTERNATIONAL

An exciting, hard-fought match saw the impressive French Cadets come out on top against the touring Australian Institute of Sport. French right centre John Bousquet was the man of the match which saw both sides locked at 6-6 at halftime.

The defeat means AIS leaves France with two losses under their belt - and a lot of admiration for French youth rugby league. AIS coach Dave Norman was gracious in defeat, and magnanimous to the exciting French side. “The French have come a long way recently, we will have to prepare better for these games, they are playing some particularly good footy, they should be very proud of themselves and the coaching staff have been doing an excellent job with their development".
