The classy Australian Schoolboys team defeated the French Junior side in the final Test match at Wynnum Manly's Kougari Oval yesterday. Jamal Idris was the star for the home side. The big Bulldogs centre crossed for four tries.

Neenan Simpson, Peter Mata’utia and Matthew Wright were the other try scorers. Peter Mata’utia kicked six goals.  Australia led 24-2 at half-time.
