U16 EUROPEAN CUP: POOL B - ROUND 1

Three tries in the first half gave the polyglot Euro Celts a lead they wouldn't surrender, despite Scotland outscoring them by two tries to one in the second period. The 15-minute try scoring burst put the Celts up 14-0, with Chad McGlame keeping the Scots in it with a try on the stroke of halftime.

Welshman Tom Beaumont was named man of the match, while Scotland's goal-kicking hooker Indio Singh was eyecatching for the losers.
