Sicilian Select XIII vs. North West English Lionhearts

The Lionhearts began their tour of Sicily with a clinical victory over a game, but outmatch Sicily Select XIII.

The opening 30 minutes saw the English side go over six times, with the halfback combination of Peacock and Meadows finding gaps on a regular basis for their colleagues to run through and it was 30-0 at the break.

The Sicilian side battled well, but their relative inexperience counted against them as their bigger opponents out-powered them in the tackle and continued to run in tries, with three in five minutes ending it as a contest, the match ending in a 70-0 win for the visitors
