Universal Music Canada and Canada Rugby League have joined forces in a partnership that sees UMC become exclusive music partner for the 2012/2013 seasons.  Universal will provide talent for live performances at Team Canada Wolverines matches.  Universal Music Canada will also be fully integrated in The Rugby League Show which airs every Thursday night on Sportsnet World.

"This is a massive step forward for our sport in Canada," CRL President Cory Tukeli explained.  "Working with Universal Music signals a new era for rugby league in North America, an era of entertainment and expansion." The partnership means that fans attending Canada Wolverines matches will enjoy top quality entertainment on the field, with the best Wolverines side to date, as well as top quality entertainment integrating music with the greatest game of all.  More details of the partnership will be released in the coming weeks.
