Hungarian Rugby League Federation

Rugby league activity in Hungary commenced in 2011 with cooperation between neighbouring Czech Republic and Serbia, but it was not until June 2013 that the Hungarian Rugby League Federation was afforded Observer status from the ERL.

In 2015, the foundations of rugby league began to be laid in Hungary through EuroTag which can be played by all ages and genders as well as providing competitive outlets both domestically and internationally. 2016 also saw the Great Britain and Irish Pioneers tour Hungary playing a test match against the Magyar Bulls as well as an invitational 9's tournament.

The HRLF is a not for profit limited company and full Membership is open to clubs which have served one year probation as an Associate Member. The latter have no voting rights in the HRLF assembly.
