HUNGARY PREPARE FOR BELGRADE VISIT

29 Jul 2011

Fresh from last weekend’s European Bowl encounter with the Czech Republic, which saw their debut in the rugby league arena, Hungary face a Belgrade XIII this Sunday in Kecskemet and they are hugely looking forward to it.

“Last Saturday was one of the best rugby days out of my more than twenty years playing,” said Magyar Bulls skipper Habóczki Zsolt. “Great team, commitment and [big] hearts on the field.”

After a strong showing against the Czech’s, Hungary coach Adam Nunn has made minor changes to his squad. Coming in to make their debuts will be Arno Franken, Mehdi Benaniba and Juhas Geza - replacing Luca Tramontin, Phil Angel and Fustos Peter. Scott Torrance will shift from his try scoring position on the wing to stand off whilst Nunn moves to the bench and Joel Kimenez will start at scrum half.
