Dansk Rugby League Forbund

Initial development work commenced in Denmark in 2010, with the first rugby league selection, nicknamed the Danish Lions, taking the field in 2011. In November 2011 the Dansk Rugby League Forbund (DRLF) was formed and granted Observer Status by the ERL.

The board’s size is determined by the number of member clubs, and includes non-voting observers covering the west and east of Denmark, and the match officials. In its fledgling stages the board’s mandate is just one-year, with a new board elected at every AGM, in January.
