Match report

UNDER 16 TEST

Wales Schoolboys were defeated in a tough game which had a strong competitive first half, the score being 22-4 at the interval. However France's size and experience showed in the second half. Wales fronted up and played some good rugby, Rhys Pugsley, Dom Franchi and Luke Kell specifically, but were outclassed. Owen Thomas was Wales' man of match.

France had a very experienced squad with some current under 18 internationals that played against Wales in Carmarthen. Ashton Hewitt scored Wales' lone try after some good play from half back, Courtney Davies.
