18 Feb 2015

Spanish Town and St Catherine have emerged victorious from the JRLA High Schools competitions Grand Finals. At U14 level, tries from Hymen Thorpe and Romario Jarrett either side of half time were enough to secure an 8-0 victory for the Spanish Town in a tough clash with Calabar High.

The boys from St. Catherine High lived up to their favourites tag with a comprehensive 28-4 defeat of arch-rivals Spanish Town High in the U16 decider. Dominic Green and Kemar Anglin each scored two tries for St. Catherine while Nicholas Boreland, Mikel Facey and Tadre Wright also crossed. For Spanish Town, Romaine Smith posted their lone try.
