The Lebanese Rugby League Federation (LRLF) is pleased to announce the launch of its recruitment process for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a key leadership role responsible for driving the strategic, operational, and developmental vision of rugby league in Lebanon.
Based in Beirut, the LRLF is the officially recognised governing body for rugby league in Lebanon and a full member of International Rugby League. The federation oversees two operational regions—Mount Lebanon and North Lebanon—and works closely with its member clubs, universities, and international partners to deliver high-quality competitions and development programmes.
The CEO will work directly with the LRLF Administrative Board and will play a central role in shaping the federation’s long-term strategic plan, strengthening governance structures, managing staff, and supporting the continued growth of the sport nationwide. The role also includes oversight of major projects with partners such as the IRL and ERL , as well as the effective administration of domestic and international competitions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and implementation of a new 4–8 year strategic plan.
- Managing LRLF operations, competitions, staff, and development programmes.
- Strengthening governance, compliance, and organisational capacity across the federation.
- Building strong relationships with government bodies, clubs, partners, and international organisations.
- Overseeing financial management, administration, and official record-keeping with the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
- Representing the LRLF at key national and international events.
The LRLF is seeking candidates with strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, proven administrative experience, and a deep understanding of sports development and organisational management. Applicants must currently reside in Lebanon and be fluent in Arabic and English. Additional skills in French, legal processes, and fundraising are considered an advantage.
