The Serbian Rugby League Federation has issued the following statement:

“The SRLF would like to announce that Mr. Brian Smith, the distinguished  Australian coach, has been on an official visit to Belgrade, Serbia. While in the country, he attended a training session of the Serbian Rugby League national team, who are in the process of preparing for a tour of Australia (28th January to 8th February 2016). This tour is part of the build-up to the qualifying stages of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup. Brian Smith and the SRLF agreed that he will take on an advisory role during preparations for the 2017 RLWC qualifiers and for the qualifying campaign itself (October 2016).”

The Serbian Rugby League Federation hosted Mr. Brian Smith from 31^st December 2015 to 2^nd January 2016 in Belgrade with support of companies: Air Serbia, Harrison doo and KCTT Mr. Brian Smith attended a Serbian national team training session (pictured) on 1^st January 2016 and visited the Serbian Rugby League Federation office in the centre of Belgrade.
