Stari Grad played against a young Morava team from Leskovac in the last round of Serbia’s second tier champiionship. The 40-12 result was the sixth victory in a row for Stari Grad. This young team is made from Rugby League Club Dorcol youngsters who are fighting for a place in the Spiders’ first team.

Ivan Antic, Stari Grad, captain made the following statement: “This was a great season for us. We lost just one game against Radnicki from Nova Pazova in the Serbian Rugby League Cup, but I hope that we will fix that when we play in the Serbian Shield in the autumn. This team has shown that a combination of youth and experience can give results. I hope that a few of this young boys will play for Dorcol and the Serbian Rugby League national team in future.“
