The RLEF has revealed the new logo for the European Championship, which will cover three competitions: the senior European Championship which will take place this October between France, Ireland, Scotland and Wales; European Championship B, which kicked off last week and features Italy, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine; and European Championship C, which commences next month between the Czech Republic, Greece and Malta.

The design was selected from a competition of over a dozen conceptual entrants, with the final selection made by the RLEF's media and commercial committee. RLEF General Manager Danny Kazandjian said: "The RLEF is very pleased with the new European Championship design. It captures the dynamism of the competition while retaining the RLEF corporate image and, importantly, our European dimension.

"We are striving to make as robust an official competition structure as possible and the quality of the NGBs that we have participating this year suggests that calendar is moving in the right direction, with a real hunger to enter and with nations relishing the chance to plot their activities well in advance."
